Our structure

Our holiday home, created from the scrupulous conservative restoration of an ancient farmhouse, is located in a characteristic village immersed in the quiet and greenery of the Parma hills. The rhythms of life of the rural villages of the past and the tranquility of the hills represent the key to an absolutely relaxing holiday experience.

If you are looking for comfortable accommodation half an hour’s drive from the center of Parma or Reggio Emilia, in a quiet and green hillside location, with lots of activities you can do, you are in the right place.

Our structure, small but very comfortable, is composed of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom (or double), 1 single bedroom, 2 bathrooms with shower and, available to guests, a relaxation lounge, complete kitchen and large entrance hall. The rooms, created from the renovation of an ancient farmhouse, have maintained the simplicity and originality of the original construction. The structure, completely renovated, offers simple but refined environments, with lots of attention to detail and care in furnishings. The ancient walls have been preserved, where possible, with exposed stone and have not been deliberately straightened (hence the name “La ca’ Torta”), respecting the originality that distinguishes them, while the floors have been rebuilt with beams and exposed tiles.

Respect for the architectural choices of the past gives the rooms freshness, originality and hospitality, furthermore the hilly and ventilated position guarantees an optimal climate both in spring and in the summer months. A small paved area outside, in the quiet of the village, offers the possibility of relaxing breaks and breakfasts in the open air, in the tranquility of a rural landscape of meadows, hills and verdant mountains. Guests will be able to occupy the entire structure, also taking advantage of the kitchen for preparing meals and using the on-site equipment. Possibility of parking for the car and possible provision of a closed and safe place to store the bicycle (overnight). The structure is equipped with WI-FI connection and TV set with satellite system.
